Daniel A. Cicconi, 89 of Framingham passed away Friday Sept. 3 ^rd after a period of declining health.  Born in Brighton, he was the son of the late Donato and Antonia (Cocuzzo) Cicconi and husband of Alice (Fantoni) Cicconi.  They were married 66 years.  Mr. Cicconi owned and operated D. Cicconi Landscaping Co. in the Newton and Brookline area for many years.  Daniel served his country honorably in the Army during the Korean War from 1952-54.

In addition to his wife Alice, he is survived by his son Daniel C. Cicconi and his wife Dora of Milford, two grandchildren, Emily Cicconi and Nicholas Gencarella, and one sister, Carmella Sweeney.  He was the father of the late Patricia Gencarella who died in 2013 and the late Mary Cicconi who died in 1956.
