Dandola (Donna) N. Capalucci, 74, of Ashland, MA passed away peacefully on June 6, 2008, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on October 5, 1933 in Cansano, Italy, the daughter of the late Gregorio and Stella (DiCamillo) Rossetti. At the age of thirteen, Donna came to Framingham and then resided in Ashland, where she raised her family. Donna was the devoted wife of Richard Capalucci, Sr. to whom she was married for 53 years. She was the loving mother of the late Jean Daly and her husband, Edward of Holliston, Maria Rossini and her husband, Paul of Holliston, Richard Capalucci, Jr. of Ashland, Nancy Antonio and her husband, Paul of Framingham, Joan Phillips and her husband, Paul of Westborough, Paul Capalucci and his wife, Kara of Upton and Christine Gillis and her husband, Lawrence Ill of Ashland. She was "Nonni" to Andrea, Elizabeth, Paul, Elyse, Michael, Chelsea, Erica, Jessica, Angela, Jake, Anthony, Samatha, Erin, Jenny, Jackie, Larry, Natalie, Julia and Matthew. She also leaves her sisters, Maria Toto of Framingham and Anita DelPoio and her husband, Louis of Ashland and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family in Ashland, at the Cape, and back to her birthplace in Cansano, Italy. She'll be remembered for her vibrant smile, playful energy, loving spirit, and graceful poise.
