Clifford Steacie, 86, of Holliston, passed away June 14th in Framingham after a period of declining health. Born in Newton he was the son of the late Clifford and Dorothy (Proctor) Steacie and had live in Holliston over 50 years. He was employed with the Baker Nail Co in Framingham 20 years and most recently with Fenwal Corporation in Ashland. He was a veteran of WWII serving with the United States Army. Cliff was an avid Harley Rider and a member of the American Motorcycle Association. He leaves his wife Louise (Dingley) Steacie of Holliston, two daughters: Debra Young and her husband Kevin of Hudson, Sandra Beneden and her husband Bill of Marshville, NC; two grandchildren: Jennifer Hall and Christopher Bent; one sister: Dorothy Bosworth and her husband Harry of Bethel, VT. He was the brother of the late Robert Steacie and Stanley Steacie. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday morning at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St., Ashland.
