Christos Ioannidis, 73 of Framingham passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Monday, June 20th.  Born in Greece, he was the son of the late Nikolaos and Sofia (Parassidis) Ioannidis and the loving husband of Anatoli (Makridis) Ioannidis, for 52 years. Christos immigrated to the United States with his family in 1983 settling in Framingham, MA in 1984.  He was an active member of Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church, in Marlborough, MA.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Effie Lafazanos and her husband Spiros of Chicago, IL, and Nickolas Ioannidis and his wife Stavroula of Lowell, MA, grandchildren Yannis, Eleni, Christina, and Christos, and one half-brother, Pavlo Ioannidis and his wife Irini, of Canada.

A funeral service will be held Thursday June 23rd, at 11:00 am, in Sts. Anargyroi Greek Orthodox Church, 9 Central St. Marlborough, MA with burial to follow in Edgell Grove Cemetery in Framingham. One visiting hour will be held Thursday from 10:00-11:00am prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Christos to Sts.
