Cheryl V. Rigby, 69, of Ashland passed away Monday June 9th after a fierce battle with adult cystic fibrosis.  Born in Passaic, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Vallone and wife of Glenn H. Rigby.  Cheryl worked for IBM for 23 years achieving the role of Strategic Alliance Manager.  In addition, her career included time with EMC, CSC Consulting, Atex Co., and Network Engines.  Cheryl was a beloved member of Connect Church for over 20 years. She faithfully served alongside her husband and touched hundreds of lives as a volunteer coordinator. Her consistent positivity in the face of illness inspired others and grew the faith of many. She is a treasure that will be well honored for many years to come.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Cameron Rigby and her husband Daniel Grant of RI, Wendy Branconier and her husband Brandon of Holden, MA, and Courtney DeOliveira and her husband Matthew of North Attleborough, MA, nine grandchildren, Mackenzie Grant, Morgan Grant, Chephren Branconier, Charlotte Tyler, Cayson Branconier, Brady Shankle, Cullen Shankle, Julian DeOliveira, and Teagan DeOliveira, three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Elijah, and Ezekiel, brother, Kenneth Vallone of OK, and sister, Dyanne Vansyckel and her husband William of CO.

A celebration of life will be held Friday June 20th at 6:30 PM in Connect Church, 280 Pleasant St. Ashland, MA.
