Charles Pillarella, age 75 died peacefully at the Emeritus facility in Framingham on May 19, 2015. Born in Framingham, Massachusetts on March 8, 1940, he was the son of Finimondo and Amelia (Suslowich) Pillarella. He graduated from Framingham High School and served in the United States Air Force. He had a long career as a Fire Fighter and Deputy Chief for the town of Framingham. He was a past president and lifetime member of the Southborough Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed skeet and trap shooting with his wife for many years. He is predeceased by his wife Guadalupe Pillarella (Anaya) and is survived by two brothers; Joseph Pillarella of Framingham MA and Philip Pillarella of Hopkinton MA, one sister Anne -Marie Malisz of Milford Ma, his children; Anthony Pillarella of Blackstone MA , Maria Schuberth of Blackstone MA, and Charles Pillarella of Milford MA, his grandchildren; Daniel and Michael Pillarella, Mikayla and Brianna Schuberth of Blackstone MA, and Marco and Angela Pillarella of Milford MA, and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 26th from 4-7PM at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street in Ashland. A funeral mass will be said on Wednesday morning, May 27th at 9AM in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty Street in Ashland with interment to follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Southwest Indian Foundation.
