Charles "Chuck" Lee, 52, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. Raised in Pittsburg, PA; he was the husband of Bet (Key) Wong. Chuck graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in electrical engineering. He worked in the computer networking industry for many years and held multiple patents in computer chip designs. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Lee of Ashland, his parents, Chung Sing and Tammy Lee of Pittsburg, PA, one sister, Shui Ziegler and her husband Rob of Rochester, PA, three brothers; George Lee and his wife Lucy of Brea, CA; Gil Lee and his wife Diane of Diamond Bar, CA; and Ken Lee and his wife Hilarie of Gibsonton, FL; one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Lee of Johnstown, PA; and eight nieces and nephews; Christopher, Eric, Christina, Julian, Allyson, Chauncey, Manny, and Thomas. A funeral service will be held Monday at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held from 11:00-12:00 prior to the service.
