Charles E. Bakstran, Jr, 70, of Ashland passed away Thursday Dec. 11th at his home in Ashland. Born in Savannah, GA; he was the son of Vera (Gallettini) Bakstran and the late Charles E. Bakstran Sr. He was the husband of Betsy (Holmgren) Bakstran for 44 years. Mr. Bakstran worked for the Natick Paper Board Corp. for 38 years. He was an active member and volunteer at St. Cecilia's Parish in Ashland as well as a member of the Southborough Rod and Gun Club. Charles served his country honorably in the Air Force with the 509th Organizational Maintenance Service from 1961-1963. In addition to his wife and mother; he is survived by three children; Jennifer Milinazzo and her husband William of Worcester; Kenneth Bakstran and his wife Shauna of Framingham; and Erick Bakstran and his fiancé Tovah Heller of Cambridge; six grandchildren; Carrie, Kelsey, Anna, and Portia Milinazzo; and Connor and William Bakstran; one sister; Mary Ann Loncon of Savannah, GA; many cousins; and one niece and nephew. He was the brother of the late William Bakstran. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Dec. 15th at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Parish, 54 Esty St. in Ashland. There are no calling hours.
