Cerillo Henry Pontremoli, 84, of Framingham passed away Tuesday Jan. 12th after a period of declining health. Born in Framingham, he was the son of that late Egido and Julia (Otenti) Pontremoli. He was the husband of Ruth (Smith) Pontremoli. Henry worked as a truck driver with the Teamsters Local 170 retiring in the late 1970s. He was a former member of the Christopher Columbus Society in Framingham and active member of St. Mary's Church in Holliston. Mr. Pontremoli served his country honorably with the Army during the Korean War.
In addition to his wife; he is survived by one son; Mark E. Pontremoli ; four step-children; Janet Dickerson of Venice, FL; Anthony LeFfler of Hatfield, MA; Shawn LeFfler of Marlboro; and Kara Fortier of Ohio; granddaughter; Julia Pontremoli; devoted daughter in law; Nancy Constantine; one brother, Adelmo Pontremoli of Framingham, and his beloved dog, Yama.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday Jan. 18th at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church, 8 Church St. Holliston, MA. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Baypath Humane Society, 5 Rafferty Road, Hopkinton, MA 01748
