Catherine G. Rezzuti, 88, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, Nov. 24th at Oak Knoll Healthcare Center in Framingham. Born in Holyoke, MA, she was the daughter of William and Gertrude (Maguire) O'Neill and wife of the late Anthony F. Rezzuti who died in 1985. A resident of Ashland for over 50 years, Catherine was a cafeteria worker in Ashland Public Schools for many years. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Church and the Catholic Daughters of Medway. A loving grandmother, Catherine enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's many activities. She is survived by seven daughters: Catherine Araujo and her husband John; Patricia Dakai and her husband Ronald; Claire Corbin; Margaret Dolan; Mary Rezzuti; Linda Phipps and her husband Patrick; and Laurie Rezzuti; two sons: William Rezzuti and his wife Jane; and Andrew Rezzuti; eleven grandchildren: Robert, David and Brian Araujo; Paul and Christine Dakai; Katie Messina; Michael Corbin; Patrick and Kelli Dolan; Libby and Liam Phipps; and ten great grandchildren. She was sister of the late Sr. Margaret Agnes and mother of the late Richard Rezzuti. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, November 28th at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church in Ashland with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2:00-5:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
