Caterina Altobelli, 94, of Framingham, passed away, Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Kathleen Daniel Nursing Home in Framingham. Born in Italy, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Regina (Cupido) D'Angelo. She was wife of the late Tommaso Altobelli, who died in 1988. A resident of Framingham for over 70 years, she was a long time member of St. Tarcisius Church. Mrs. Altobelli enjoyed cooking, gardening, and vacationing on Cape Cod. She is survived by one son, Achielli Altobelli and his wife Maryann of Framingham, two daughters; Christine Downey and her husband Robert of Framingham, and Mafalda Richards and her husband John of San Diego, CA; four grandchildren; Joseph and Michael Altobelli, Robert Downey, and Karen Pellegrini; and nine great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 27th at 10:30 AM in St. Tarcisius Church in Framingham with burial to follow in St. Tarcisius Cemetery.
