Carole Ann Owens, 68, of Newport, RI passed away Sat. Sept. 16th. She was the daughter of the late Hugh and Helen (Donlon) Owens. A resident of Newport for the last 30 years, Carole worked as an office administrator for ReMax of Newport retiring in 2016. She was raised in Waltham, MA a graduate of Waltham High School Class of 1967 and attended Northeastern University.

Ms. Owens is survived by one daughter, Lisa Anne Robinson and her husband Andrew of Holliston, MA, sister, Marjorie Feeley and her husband Kenneth of East Falmouth, MA, cousins Anne-Marie Shelley and her husband Kevin, Karen Odden and her husband Jake, and Jennifer Kearney and her husband Ian, nieces and nephews, Ryan, Jack, and Dylan Shelley, Margot and Jack Odden, Katie and Andrew Kearney, and her companion, Roger DeFelice.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Mon. Sept. 25th at 10:00am in St. Bernard's Parish, 1523 Washington St. West Newton, MA. with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery in Waltham. Calling hours will be held Sun. Sept. 24th from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.
