Carol Ann (Smith) Nimmo, 91 of Ashland formerly of Medway passed away Sunday Oct. 13th after a period of declining health.

Born in Brockton in 1933, she met John Nimmo in February of 1957 and in August of 1957 they were married. She was the wife of John Nimmo until his passing, married for 57 years. Carol was a devoted wife, mother, homemaker and loving grandmother.

She is survived by four daughters; Cynthia, Dona, Linda, and Susan, and was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, one sister Leslie, and one brother Orland. She was pre-deceased by her sisters Frances and Phyllis.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday Oct. 18th at 11:00am in St. Cecilia's Church, 54 Esty St. in Ashland followed by cremation. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
