Carmela "Chickie" Martino, 96 lifelong resident of Ashland passed away on Monday September 21st. She was born in Ashland and lived there the majority of her life. She was the daughter of the late Maria and Vincenzo Martino, originally from Italy. They married and settled in Ashland where they lived their entire lives. She was the sister of the late Saverio (Sam) and Felice {Phil) Martino.

She graduated from Ashland High School in 1948. She worked for the Danforth Association in Wellesley, MA for 30 years as an office manager.

She leaves behind many friends, nieces, nephews as well as several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements are with the Matarese Funeral Home in Ashland. There will be an 11:00 AM Graveside Service on Thursday, September 24th at St. Tarcisius Church Cemetery, 180 Winthrop Street in Framingham, where she will be laid close to her parents. There will be no calling hours.
