Burton A. Carter 88 of Framingham passed away December 22,2008 at Wingate at Sudbury after a period of declining health. He was the husband of Dorothy (Bassett) Carter and they had been married 67 years. He was a 50 year member of the Bricklayers Union and a member of the Elks Lodge in Framingham. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters: Sandra Colley of Poinciana,Fla. and Cynthia Carter of Arlington,Va. One sister: Marjorie Hastings of Natick. One grandchild and several nieces and nephew. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home 325 Main St. Ashland at 11:00am on Saturday morning,December 27th with interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery,Ashland.
