Bruce Hamilton, 77, of North Kingstown, RI, formerly of Medway, MA; passed away unexpectedly Wed. Dec. 5th. A graduate of Needham High School, Mr. Hamilton began his career as a truck driver and teamster for OB Hill Trucking & Rigging Co. He later owned and operated Ashland Sewerage Co. for over 15 years. Mr. Hamilton's true passion was for trains and his dream of running a railroad was realized when he purchased the Seaview Railroad on Quonset Point, North Kingstown, RI in 1987. He was a true animal lover supporting a parrot rescue sanctuary in Rhode Island and always adoring his late dog Cindy. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Dec. 20th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
