Brian Michael Gorgone, 49, of Framingham, MA died unexpectedly on February 9, 2015 at his home. He was born March 31, 1965 in Waltham, MA and was a lifelong Framingham native. He graduated from Keefe Technical HS and spent nearly 30 years in the automotive repair industry. Brian is survived by his mother, Margaret (MacPhail) Gorgone of Framingham, MA; father and stepmother, Joseph and Barbara Gorgone of Leesburg, FL; brother Rick (Cindy) of Fairfax, VA; and sisters Laura (Eddie) Imbriani of Winter Garden, FL and Nancy (Eric) Vanasse of Dartmouth, MA. He will be dearly missed by his niece and nephew, Gina and Nick, along with his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Brian had a lifelong passion for cars, which led him into the automotive collision repair profession. He was a licensed, motor vehicle damage appraiser and managed local repair shops for over 25 years. It was not uncommon for Brian to work long hours and weekends, yet he always found time for his own project cars including a racecar he ran at a track in New Hampshire. Brian also loved boating and spent many of his younger years sailing Cape Cod and the surrounding islands. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Visiting hours will be Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 11 AM - 1 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 1 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland, MA.
