Betty Jo Bresnick, 84, of Ashland, passed away, July 8th at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham. She was the wife of the late William Bresnick, who died in 2006. A resident of Weston for many years and later Ashland, Mrs. Bresnick worked as an administrator with the Federal Aviation Administration where she met her future husband "Bill." She then became a full time homemaker devoted to raising her family. She will be remembered as an extraordinary mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by two sons: Barry Bresnick and his wife Donna of Ashland and Keith Bresnick of Ashland; six grandchildren: Sara Bresnick-Zocchi, Rachel (Bresnick) Lipson, Jason Bresnick, Stephen Bresnick, Carrie Bresnick, and David Bresnick; three great-grandchildren; Elliot, Sam, and Connor; daughter in law, Deborah Bresnick of Ashland; and two brothers; Curtis and Sam Corley, both of Elkins, WV. She was the mother of the late Garen Bresnick. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 10th at 3:00pm in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. One calling hour will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service.
