Bernice Anne (Conlon) Cunningham, age 72, died on December 11, 2014. She was the only child of the late Charles and Hilda (Chartier) Conlon of Springfield, MA. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst with a degree in English and Education. In the summer of 1964, she participated in Masters Studies in Oxford University after which she taught English for several years at Palmer High School in Palmer, MA. In later years, she worked in Human Resources at Avery Dennison in Framingham, MA. She is survived by two sons, Brian Cunningham and his wife Susie of Grafton, MA and Tullan Cunningham and his wife Jennifer of Franklin, MA. In addition, she is survived by 7 grandchildren: Erin, Liam, Owen, Ashley, Laura, Andrew and Emma. She enjoyed playing bridge and water aerobics, but mostly she enjoyed spending time with her family. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday morning, December 19th in St. Cecilia's Church in Ashland, MA at 9 AM. Calling hours will be held on Thursday evening December 18th at Matarese Funeral Home in Ashland from 5-7PM.
