Obituary

Barbara A. Pascucci, 86, of Edgewater, Florida, formerly of Framingham, MA died Wednesday, March 2nd in Framingham. Married in May 1947, she was the wife of the late Joseph A. Pascucci, Sr. Born in Sherborn, MA she was the daughter of the late Napoleon and Edith (Harper) Thivierge. She lived and was educated in Ashland, graduating from Ashland High School in 1943. She worked at Marconi's Restaurant and was a crossing guard in Framingham, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Our Lady of the Sea Catholic Church, New Smyrna Beach, FL, the Women's Club in Edgewater Landing and the Red Hat Society. She loved to knit, read, shop, and go out to lunch. She leaves three daughters: Ann Mace of Edgewater, FL; Jean Cronin of Franklin, MA; Janet Pegararo of Ashland; and a son: Joseph A. Pascucci of Framingham; 6 grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; and 8 step-great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late M. Phyllis Smith. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Linus Church, Natick on Monday, March 7 at 9 AM. Burial will be in Bourne National Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, 4:00-6:00 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Framingham Heart Study, 73 Mt.
