Barbara M. Duffy, 90, of Hopkinton formerly of Brighton and Framingham passed away Tuesday April 5th. She was the daughter of the late Matthew and Georgia (Wilson) Corbett and wife of the late John J. Duffy who died in 1983. Barbara grew up in Brighton and was a graduate of Brighton High School in 1944. She later moved to Framingham where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Framingham. She loved to bake for family and friends, and was talented in many crafts.

She is survived by four children; Linda Manseau and her husband Don of Grand Island, FL; WendyColella and her husband Tom of Hopkinton; Jack Duffy of Shrewsbury; and Richard Duffy of Whitinsville; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.  She was the mother of the late Barbara Jean Duffy and sister to the late Jean C. Wilson of Medford.  A funeral service will be held Saturday April 9th at 11:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 9:00-11:00am prior to the service. Burial will take place on Monday at 2:00 PM in The Gardens at Gethsemane in West Roxbury.
