Barbara Ann Donahue, 80, of Framingham passed away Thursday Oct. 26th at her home after a long battle with ALS.  Born in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John and Elaine (Cheek) Ralston.  Barbara was the beloved wife of Thomas "Frank" Donahue Jr.  She worked as a registered nurse in the Med/Surg and Ob/Gyn departments of Framingham Union Hospital for 19 years.  She would later receive her child care certification and work for Bright Horizons caring for infants and toddlers.

Barbara is survived by her husband Frank Donahue of Framingham, MA, three children, Kimberly Jane Pensalfini of RI, Laura Ann Gillete of HI, and Gilpatrick Robert Donahue of NY, six grandchildren, Kayleigh, Michael, Joshua, Luke, Ivy, and Jack, one brother, Roy Ralston of Oregon, and one sister, Oletta Bower of Ohio.
