Barbara A Barlow, 92, passed away on Friday December 24th.  Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Madeline (Murphy) Fitzgerald.  Barbara was a graduate of Bentley College and worked as a bookkeeper for several local businesses.   She was an avid seamstress, rug braider, and bridge player.

Mrs. Barlow was predeceased by her husband George L Barlow and her daughter Jan (Barlow) Carr.

She leaves behind her sister Elizabeth Danker, son Jeffrey Barlow, and his wife Lori, granddaughter Jillian (Barlow) Bousquet and her husband Austin.

A funeral service will be held Friday Jan 7 ^th at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. Ashland, MA.  Visiting hours will be held Thursday Jan. 6 ^th from 2:00-4:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Barbara's name to your local animal shelter.
