Aurelio Raymond Biuso, 92, of Framingham died peacefully in his sleep, Saturday, May 10, 2008 at Kathleen Daniel Nursing Home. He leaves behind his loving wife of 67 years, Lillian (Martin) Biuso and his devoted daughter, Anne Giombetti and son-in-law Robert Giombetti of Ashland, MA. He was a loving grandfather and great grandfather and is survived by his granddaughters Diane Giombetti Clue and her husband Kevin Clue, Christine Shepherd and her husband David Shepherd, and MaryEllen Giombetti, and great grandchildren Vanessa and Allison Shepherd and Domenic Clue. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. His son Anthony and daughter Arlene pre-deceased him in 1972 from cystic fibrosis. He was also the brother of the late Cora D'Altorio, Anna Martin, Louie Biuso, Americo Biuso and Frank Biuso. Aurelio got his start as a barber learning the trade at the hands of his father Antonio, at the family barber shop in Milford, MA, which remained open until 2006, when Aurelio's younger brother Frank passed away. Aurelio went on to work as a barber at Cushing Hospital in Framingham, MA where he retired after more than twenty years of barbering. During World War II, Aurelio contributed to the war effort by working at the Quincy Shipyard building LSTs and LSDs. Aurelio was an avid gardener and landscaper, whose beautiful work provided the backdrop for many family celebrations. His granddaughters affectionately referred to his grounds as "The Tivoli Gardens". Another one of Aurelio's passions was ballroom dancing with his bride Lillian. They spent many Saturday evenings dancing with friends and family. In his 70's, Aurelio took up oil painting and family and friends were the proud recipients of his original works of art. Aurelio led a very active and full life and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 220 North Main Street, Ste.104, Natick, MA 01760.
