Obituary

Arthur J. LoCascio (AJ) of Bellingham, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2009 at his home. Born in Cambridge, MA, he was raised by his Aunt and Uncle, Gert and Arthur Toner. He was the son of the late Robert and Elsie (Toner) LoCascio. He is married to Alisa (Stone) LoCascio. For seventeen years AJ was employed by the TJX Company in Framingham as a supervisor where he had many dear friends. Besides his wife, AJ is survived by his children: Elsie of Webster and Andrea of Worcester; his grandchildren, Kylie Anna of Webster and Paulix of Webster; his sisters, Robin of Haverhill, MA and Cathy and her husband Peter of Greer, SC; his brothers, Robert of Milford, MA, John and his wife Kelly of Uxbridge, MA, Thomas of Nashville, TN, and Larry and his partner Kevin of Allston, MA; his in-laws, Warren and Pat Stone of Ringe, NH; sister-in-law, Andrea and her husband Robert of Holliston, MA; brothers-in-law David and his wife Cindy of Wales, MA, Richard and his wife Sharon of Cincinnati, Ohio, Danny and his wife Margaret of Wells, ME, Alan of the Marshal Islands, and Warren of Medway, MA. He is also survived by his beloved best friends Hercules and Maxxine as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He leaves many dear and loving friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Cecilia's Church, Ashland on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 9AM. Calling hours will be held Monday evening from 5-7 PM at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland. In lieu of flowers Lisa has requested that donations in AJ's name be made to the American Cancer Society, 9 Riverside Road, Weston, MA 02493; Att: Relay for Life, Ashland/Holliston, "Cookin' Up A Cure."
