Obituary

Anthony 'Tony" Lentini, 90, of Wrentham, formerly a lifelong resident of Natick, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 17th having lived a long and wonderful life. He was the husband of Elizabeth "Betty" Lentini for 41 years. They were married in 1974 at the Martha-Mary Chapel at Wayside Inn, Sudbury. Tony worked at Roxbury Carpet in Framingham and then enjoyed working at Dennison Mfg. in Framingham as a talented Tin Smith in his later years. Tony and Betty loved family dinners at the home of his parents "Joseph and Mary" prior to their passing. They shared many trips to Cape Cod, the North Shore, Vermont and Florida with family and friends. He also loved the ocean, boating, camping, fishing and gardening. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Robert "Bob" Lentini and his wife Deb of Pensacola, FL. He was loved as Dad by his adoring step children and their spouses: Nancy Sperlich, Marshall Rediker, Dee and Mike Gifford, the late Bill Rediker and his wife Karen. Tony dearly loved spending time with his brothers Vito, Ceaser, Chick Lentini and their wives, Margaret, Betty and Donna. Known as Beepa, Tony will be deeply missed by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and close friends. A Celebration of Tony's life will take place on Saturday, February 21st at 11AM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street in Ashland with one calling hour held prior to service time.
