Anna Jean Sannicandro, 78, of Ashland, passed away Friday Dec. 16th at her home in Ashland surrounded by family. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Hallie (Lane) Gallimore and wife to the late Ernest Sannicandro who died in 1999. A resident of Ashland for 62 years, Mrs. Sannicandro participated in many Ashland Senior Center activities. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who cherished time spent with her family. She is survived by six children: Ernest Sannicandro and his wife Rose of Ashland; Robert Sannicandro and his wife Theresa of Upton; Donna Domestico and her husband Charles of Ashland; June O'Brien and her husband John of Ashland; Jean Bylsma and her husband Peter of Ashland; and Nancy Donovan and her husband Thomas of North Carolina; loving grandmother of Melissa Fell, Peter and Jillian Sannicandro, Chris, Mike, and Sean Sannicandro, Vincent, Tony, and Cristina Domestico, Maria Humphreys, Marissa, Alicia, and Cassandra Bylsma, and Caitlin, Conor, and Colin Donovan; five great-grandchildren; her loving sister Mary Greel of Natick and her brother Jack Gallimore of CT. She was the sister of the late June Yanosick. She also leaves her dear family friend Nadine Ferdenzi. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Dec. 21st at 10:00AM in St. Matthew's Church in Southborough with burial to follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
