Anita Louise Rance-Correia, 72, of Stuart, FL; formerly of Bermuda, passed away Dec. 31st at her home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bermuda, she was the eldest child of the late Karl Noel and Mary Stella (Simons) Rance. She was the cherished wife of Frederick M. Correia for over 52 years. Before retiring to Florida, Anita was the manager of Eastern Airlines Front Street ticket office and more recently worked for Federal Express in Bermuda. In addition to her husband, she leaves her sister, Suellen Wildman and her husband Harry of Ashland, MA; her brothers; Terry Rance and his wife Lynn and Karl Rance Jr., and Harry Rance, all of Bermuda, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She also leaves her two special boys, Brian and Matthew Wildman, who lovingly called her Sue Sue, and numerous relatives and friends in Bermuda who will miss her as well. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 9th at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland, MA. There are no calling hours.
