Angelo A. Tofani, 51, of Ashland, died unexpectedly from injuries sustained in a bicycling accident while on vacation in York Maine. Born in Framingham, he is the son of Angelo J. and Vita (Diana) Tofani. Angelo is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 29 years Christine (Martin) Tofani. The beloved father of three daughters; Kristen DeOliveira and her husband Eddy of Framingham; Liane and Brittany Tofani both of Ashland; and the proud papa of one granddaughter; Angelina Christine DeOliveira; and his six wonderful canine companions. He is also survived by his sisters Paula Wilson and Marie Norton; twin brother Pasquale and brothers John and James Tofani; and many brother and sister in laws, nieces and nephews. Angelo was the successful owner and operator of A.A. Tofani Construction Inc. for 29 years. He was a 1977 graduate of Keefe Tech. He was a member of the Framingham Elks, Christopher Columbus Society, St. Tarcisius Bowling League. Angelo was a loving husband, father, and devoted family man who will be remembered for his adventurous and hard working spirit. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 15th at 11:00am in St. Tarcisius Church in Framingham followed by cremation. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4:00-8:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Angelo A. Tofani Memorial Fund, c/o Middlesex Savings Bank, 5 West Union St., Ashland, Ma 01721. Donations will be directed to Mount Agamenticus Conservation Region.
