Mrs. Angelina (Julie) ALMEIDA (née Cavallaro) went home to be with The Lord while peacefully surrounded by family after a brief illness on December 22nd, 2014 at the age of 69. Julie is survived by her husband Paul H. Medeiros of Tiverton, RI, son Raymond and grandchildren Ryan, John and Charles of Ashland, MA, sister Dorothy and husband John Cintolo of Bristol, RI, brothers Robert of Warren, RI and Mark and wife Kathleen Cavallaro of Pohatcong Township, NJ. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. Julie is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Anna Cavallaro as well as brother Joseph and wife Virginia Cavallaro of Bristol, RI. Julie was born on March 4, 1945 in Providence, RI. She graduated from Bristol High School in 1963 and Alfred Angelo's School of Hairdressing in 1963. She later became co-owner and President of Buffington's Pharmacy until 1995. After moving to Aventura, FL in 1996, Julie began working as an Agent for Continental Airlines retiring in 2013 after a successful 17 year career. A memorial Mass is scheduled for Saturday January 10th, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church, 330 Wood Street Bristol, RI 02809. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Julie's life. Burial will be private.
