Alvin Japp 78 of Ashland passed away February 20, 2006. He was the son of the late Felix P. and Christina (Haley) Japp. He was a lifelong resident of Ashland. Mr. Japp was employed at Weston Nurseries in Hopkinton for 25 years. Mr. Japp leaves one brother, Felix Japp Jr. of Maitland, FL; and one sister Priscilla Travaglini and her husband Louis of Ashland. He also leaves 5 nieces and 3 nephews. A funeral service will be held on Thursday morning, February 23rd at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, Ashland, MA 01721. Calling hours will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Thursday morning at the funeral home.
