Alta F (Dunham) Whitehouse, 74, of Ashland, died Friday, Dec. 7th at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. She was the wife of the late Clifford S Whitehouse, who died in 2003. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Clifton D and Bertha M (Nichols) Dunham. A graduate of Framingham High School, she worked for Dennison Manufacturing for 32 years. She leaves her children Barry A Whitehouse and his wife Michelle of Bellingham, Debra A Clemons of Tucson, AZ; a sister, Ruth Talvy of Ashland, and a brother, Richard I Dunham of Marlborough, and many nieces and nephews. A funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home (www.mataresefuneral.com) 325 Main St. in Ashland followed by cremation. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Lung Association of Massachusetts, 460 Totten Pond Rd.
