Alice Virginia Florest, 78, of Ashland, passed away, Sunday, March 1st at her home in Ashland. Born in Norwood, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (Ruth) Suereth. She was the wife of the late Richard E. Florest. Mrs. Florest was a resident of Medfield until moving to Ashland in 1980. She is survived by two sons; Richard D Florest and his wife Kathleen of Franklin; Mark Florest and his wife Kristen of Sutton; four grandchildren: Richard, Michael, Steven and his wife Sam, and Ashley; one great grandchild, Ava Florest; one brother, Russell Suereth of Florida; and her loving neighbors on Prospect Heights. She was the sister of the late Teddy Suereth and mother to the late Raymond Florest. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7th at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. There are no calling hours.
