Alexander M. Cooper, 59, of Milford, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, March 2nd at Milford Regional Hospital. Born in Canada, he was the son of the late Frederick and Phyllis (Mate) Cooper. He is the husband of Eliani (Sabadin) Cooper and was previously married to Marilyn (Ault) Cooper, who died in 2000. A resident of Milford for 36 years, Alex worked as a medical equipment repairman at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Jamaica Plain and previously at Cushing Hospital in Framingham. He was an avid Red Sox fan and music lover. He especially liked Blue's music and the Beatles. Mr. Cooper was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Navy aboard the submarine USS Pogy. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Christopher Cooper and his wife Chrissy of Hopedale; and two step-children; Mario Sabadin and Fernanda Sousa, both of Milford.
