Albert David Richardson of Chatham, formerly of Ashland, age 95 died Monday, August 12, 2013. Born in Framingham, Albert was the son of the late Albert and Melinda (Tredeau) Richardson and husband to the late Alice (Kelley) Richardson who died in 2010. Albert was a Linesman for New England Telephone retiring in 1985. A longtime resident of Ashland he moved to Chatham in 1986. Mr. Richardson served his country honorably with the Army during WWII. He is survived by three children; David B. Richardson of Thailand, Judith E. Morse of Holliston, and Melinda Gilfoy and her husband Kenneth of Ashland; grandfather of Melissa Grondine and her husband Michael of Marlborough and Erin Gilfoy of Ashland; great-grandfather of Liam and Tyler Grondine of Marlborough. A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday August 16th at 9:00am in St. Cecilia's Church in Ashland with burial to follow in Milton Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 4:00-7:00 PM in the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland.
