Albert Allan Charles, 89, of Framingham passed away Friday, Jan 6th at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham. Born in Providence, RI; he was the son of the late Samuel and Sadie (Litchman) Charles and husband to the late Rita (Perreault) Charles. A resident of Framingham for over 30 years, Albert worked as a salesman for Jordan Marsh for 35 years retiring in 1980. Mr. Charles served his country honorably with the Army during WWII. He is survived by one daughter, Pauldine English and her husband James of Marlboro, and one son Robert Andrews and his wife Maryanne of Falmouth, five grandchildren, Robert Andrews and his wife Celeste, Richard Andrews and his wife Erika, Julie Matta and her husband William, Matt Wilson and his fiancé Stephanie Nguyen, and Megan Dimaggio, ten great grandchildren, one sister, Eleanor Marcus and her husband Sidney, and two nephews, Steven and Robert Marcus. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00am in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street in Ashland with burial to follow in St. Stephen's Cemetery in Framingham.
