Alan N. White, Sr. of Upton, MA has died at the age of 56. Alan was born in Natick and raised in Framingham with his four brothers and two sisters. Upon meeting the love of his life, Margaret Anne King of Framingham, he married and raised their two children on Cape Cod. Alan founded and ran a successful heating, ventilation and air conditioning business on the Cape until his death. Alan will be remembered by those who knew him as a devoted husband to Margaret Anne, a caring father to his children Alan Norman Jr., Angela Marie, and daughter in-law Rebecca Iafrate White, and loving grandfather to Madelyn Anne and Mason Alan. Indeed, it was as a father, and most recently grandfather, that Alan found immeasurable joy and happiness. Beyond the deep and enduring love of his family, Alan will also be remembered by friends and family for his vast generosity, loyalty and strength. Memorial calling hours will be held for Alan at the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main Street, in Ashland on Monday, March 14 from 5-8PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal Street,Watertown, MA 02472, a cause dear to Alan and his family.
