Alan Brodzinski of Marlborough died on February 10, 2014 at the age of 53 after several months of declining health. Alan was born and raised in Ashland and graduated from Keefe Vocational Technical School. He worked as an auto and heavy diesel mechanic in the Marlborough-Hudson area for most of his life. Alan leaves his mother Pauline (Piontek) Brodzinski of Ashland; his older sister Karen Napoli and her husband Vincent of Framingham; older sister Nancy Barck and her husband John of Lancaster; older brother George T. Brodzinski, Jr., MD and his wife Deborah of Mequon Wisconsin, and his two younger brothers Denis of Alfred Maine and Kenneth of Ashland. He also leaves behind his nephews Edward, Warren, Troy and Teddy and his niece Rebekka. Alan was predeceased by his father George T. Brodzinski formerly of Ashland. Alan will be greatly missed for his wit and infectious sense of humor. Brodzinski family gatherings will never be the same. The family would like to acknowledge Alan's many friends, known to us, but too numerous to name, who were there for him all these years, especially those who assisted him over these last several months. At the family's direction, there will be no calling hours. Alan's remains will be interred in the family's plot in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland in a private ceremony to be held in the spring.
