Agnes Laura Shaw, 89, of Ashland passed away Saturday Aug. 3 ^rd after a period of declining health.  Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Ethel (Ericson) Smith and wife of the late Robert Shaw who died in 2000.  Agnes worked for many years as a cafeteria cashier in the Ashland School System.

Mrs. Shaw is survived by four children; Robert Shaw Jr and his late wife Margaret of Ashland, the late Ronald Shaw and his wife Margaret, Denise Sessa, and Pamela Shaw, grandson, Jonathan Sessa, and step-grandchildren, Vickie Gay, Ralph Sherman, and Dan Sherman.
