Ada L. (Owens) Pelser, 91, passed away March 25, 2017 peacefully at her home with her daughters.

She was a loving wife of the late Raymond J. Pelser for 49 years before his death in 1999. Born in Newellton, LA. She was the daughter of the late Willie Lou (Cook) Owens and William Owens. She was the sister to the late Myrtle Lowe, Bruce Owens, Mary Nell McKee and Bobbie Dupe. In addition, she is survived by her brother, Reverend James and his wife Betty Owens of Foley, AL.

She also leaves behind four children, Arlene Wright and her husband Ray of Clinton, where Ada had lived for the past 18 years; Nancy Wellman and husband Walter of Auburn; Doreen French and husband Greg of Foothill Ranch, CA; Andrew Pelser and wife Kim of Marlboro.

Nine grandchildren, Timothy and Nicholas Richard, Kevin and Olivia Wright, Matthew, Michael and Steven French, Emma and Kathryn Pelser.

Ada had two great grandchildren, Blake and Aidynne (Ada) Richard.

A memorial service to commemorate and celebrate her life will be held Saturday September 30, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland, MA
