Biography

Betty Jo Bresnick, 84, of Ashland, passed away, July 8th at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham. She was the wife of the late William Bresnick, who died in 2006. A resident of Weston for many years and later Ashland, Mrs. Bresnick worked as an administrator with the Federal Aviation Administration where she met her future husband "Bill." She then became a full time homemaker devoted to raising her family. She will be remembered as an extraordinary mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by two sons: Barry Bresnick and his wife Donna of Ashland and Keith Bresnick of Ashland; six grandchildren: Sara Bresnick-Zocchi, Rachel (Bresnick) Lipson, Jason Bresnick, Stephen Bresnick, Carrie Bresnick, and David Bresnick; three great-grandchildren; Elliot, Sam, and Connor; daughter in law, Deborah Bresnick of Ashland; and two brothers; Curtis and Sam Corley, both of Elkins, WV. She was the mother of the late Garen Bresnick.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 10th at 3:00pm in the Chapel of the Matarese Funeral Home, 325 Main St. in Ashland. One calling hour will be held from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service.
